IMG announced that its U.S. headquarters received confirmation of its continuing certification to ISO 14001:2004. In 2009, IMG implemented a functional Environmental Management System (EMS) and met requirements of the ISO 14001:2004 standard to become certified. IMG is one of the first companies known in its industry to receive this type of certification.

At a formal ceremony held at the Intercontinental Hotel, AAA Assurance Corporation agreed it will distribute one of IMG’s comprehensive insurance products to Vietnamese citizens, businesses and foreign nationals living in Vietnam. The agreement, according to Mr. Vu Tan Thanh, Vice Director General of VCCI, Vietnam, is the first between a U.S. Managing General Underwriter and a Vietnamese insurance company since the U.S. and Vietnam signed a trade agreement in 2001, indicating a significant milestone in the U.S.-Vietnamese relations.
